Spring Update

A  benefit to being a cyclist is that when traveling it can sometimes be quite easy to find a built in community.  In the morning if I head to the nearest coffee shop, I am often likely to find a group of riders from a local cycling club either just beginning, or half way through a scheduled ride. Joining the group for a ride is an awesome way to transition from “tourist” to “temporary community member”. During the past 10 days I have ridden several times with members of the local club on Captiva-Sanibel Islands in Florida. (Yes, I missed the April 26 snowstorm; my deepest sympathies to all who experienced it). I have so appreciated this opportunity to feel a part of this place I am lucky enough to be visiting.

Meanwhile, back at Nomads, spring and summer product is arriving almost as fast as the snow from the latest storm is melting. New shipments in from Prana, Toad & Co., Kuhl and a host of other great brands are filling the store with new colors and styles to get you excited and ready for the great weather that is sure to soon be coming our way. Check out a few of our staff’s current favorites here.

We’ve also still got 40% off a decent selection of winter wear. Check out some highlights here.

So whether you have upcoming travel plans or are looking forward to a summer at home, we hope to help you gear up for this new season’s adventures!
